Just a short update because I’m hard at work these days! I’m thrilled that today I am now CEO and Editor-in-Chief of Charlottesville Tomorrow. Here’s the announcement.
I can’t say enough about my predecessor, Giles Morris, who has created an organization with heart and soul and a mission of equity in local news at its core. We have an amazing team and an amazing board — it’s a dream job to work with and for my neighbors who care for how we tell our stories. I hope I can help this organization grow to meet the needs of our communities here in central Virginia.
As I do this work, I’m drawing on the invaluable connections I’ve made with other local news organizations, journalists and those looking to create more equity and justice in our industry. And I look forward to building our organizations, projects and dreams together!
